A D R I A A N  SPAANDER  born 13 February 1909 in Wormerveer, died 18 April 1997 in Ermelo. He was an auto mechanic by trade. To prevent him from being send to Germany as a mechanic during WW-II, he took over the administration of his father's stationary business in 1943/4 from his younger brother Klaas, who was working in the resistance.
     On 9 May 1935 he wed
        MAARTJE BARK  born 5 September 1913 in Wormer, died 21 November 2005 in Ermelo.
She was the daughter of Egge  BARK, a cattle farmer, and Trijntje ROOS.
