A D R I A A N  SPAANDER  baptized 17 January 1751 in Durgerdam, buried 5 (25) March 1790 in
Durgerdam.  He was also known as 'De Jonge' (the Young One) to prevent a mix-up with his uncle Adriaan, who for the same reason was called 'De Oude'  (the Old One).  Both went bankrupt and had the same curators viz. the bailiff Simon KETEL and the Secretary Joannes Gesner FOCKENS. It can be seen from the balance sheet that Adriaan owned Dfl.660 in assets and Dfl.4386 in debts !
See also note 1-27) in Appendix 1 on page 114.
From the large amount of debts for sailcloth it can be concluded that this Adriaan also was a sail maker.  In 1784 he departed with his family for Jisp, but at the time of his death in 1790 he was back in
Durgerdam.
In Durgerdam on 15 May 1774 Adriaan wed
