S T A T I U S SPAENDER born in 1656 in Durgerdam, he died between 1704 and 1712.
On 11 November 1690 he was appointed to the town council and on 25 June 1697 as Lord Mayor of
Durgerdam.
In Durgerdam on 1 October 1679 he wed
WEYNTJE ADRIAANSD, a widow, buried on 5 December 1730. In her will dd 24 September 1727 she left everything to the children of her late son Adriaan with the usufruct in her daughter-in-law Lijsje Visser, who also could continue the trade. Apparently Weyntje had a business.
As a witness at the wedding of her son Adriaan and Lijsje she signs with a hallmark ('huismerk' refer page 5).
