J A N  SPAENDER  baptized 15 October 1625 in Wormer. He was also known as Johannes 
Manglerius Spaender (Manglerius is his mother's surname). He came to Volendam on  the
6th of October 1658 and in 1659 was appointed verger/schoolmaster of the Dutch Reformed cottage church on the south-side of Volendam. Apparently he was a very enterprising man because about two years later he opened up a café. *)

M A R I T J E  SPAENDER  baptized 24 January 1627 in Wormer. Also called
Pieter Marij Jansdaughter.
   She wed three times, viz. in 1647 she wed
        ADRIANUS (ARIANUS) HENSBROECK, who died in 1655.
   Then in 1655 she wed
        JACOB KARSZOON born 1615/16 in Wormer, died in 1669. He was the widower of  Grietje
ARENDSD and the son of Karz JANSZ and Barber JACOBSD.
    In 1670 she wed
       HARMEN WOUTERSZ.
